Lending Gurus, LLC (“Lending Gurus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates lendinggurus.com as a financial media and lead generation platform. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use and share it, and what choices you have.
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SITE IN ANY MANNER — INCLUDING BROWSING CONTENT, NAVIGATING PAGES, OR SUBMITTING ANY INFORMATION — YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE, AND SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED HEREIN. NO ADDITIONAL OPT-IN OR SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POLICY TO APPLY TO YOU.
Lending Gurus is not a lender or loan broker. We are a lead generation platform. When you submit your information, we pass it to Lending Partners who may contact you directly. This is the core function of our platform and the primary way your information is used.
Important: The primary use of information you submit through this Site is to pass it to third-party lenders (“Lending Partners”) who pay us for that connection. By using this Site, you acknowledge and accept this practice.
2. Key Definitions
“Personal Information”: Any information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to you or your business.
“Lending Partners”: Third-party lenders and financial institutions in our network that receive your Lead Submission and may contact you directly.
“Referral Partners”: Third parties who refer prospective users to Lending Gurus under a referral arrangement.
“Lead Submission”: Contact and business information submitted through any form or inquiry tool on the Site.
3. Information We Collect
Information You Submit
When you complete a Lead Submission, we collect:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address
- Business information: business name, industry, time in business, estimated revenue, number of employees
- Financing context: desired funding amount and intended use of funds
We do not collect Social Security numbers, full bank account credentials, or detailed financial statements through our Site. That information is collected directly by Lending Partners through their own secure platforms.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect:
- Device and browser data: browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Network data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP
- Usage data: pages visited, links clicked, time on site, referral source
- Cookie and tracking data: see Section 7
Information from Third Parties
- Referral Partners who provide your name and contact details when referring you to our Site
- Analytics and advertising platforms that help us understand Site traffic and user behavior
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Pass your Lead Submission to one or more Lending Partners who may contact you about financing
- Match your profile with Lending Partners whose products align with your stated needs
- Track referral attribution and calculate Referral Partner commissions
- Improve Site content, matching logic, and user experience
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Services
- Send you marketing or educational content about small business financing (you may opt out — see Section 8)
5. How We Share Your Information
Lending Partners — Primary Use
Passing Lead Submissions to Lending Partners is the core commercial activity of this platform. When you submit your information, we share it with one or more Lending Partners so they can evaluate whether their products may fit your needs and contact you directly. Lending Partners pay us for these leads. By using this Site, you acknowledge and accept this practice.
Once your information is shared with a Lending Partner, their own privacy policy governs how it is handled. Lending Gurus does not control and is not responsible for a Lending Partner’s data practices after transmission.
Referral Partners
If referred to our Site by a Referral Partner, we may share limited confirmation data — such as whether a deal was funded — solely to calculate and pay their referral commission. We do not share your full Lead Submission with Referral Partners.
Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information as required by law, including in response to valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or to enforce our agreements.
Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any material change in how your information is used.
No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell Personal Information in the traditional sense. However, our core activity — passing Lead Submissions to Lending Partners for compensation — may constitute “sharing” under California law. See Section 10 for opt-out rights.
6. Telephone and SMS Communications — Form-Level Consent
TCPA NOTICE: Consent to receive autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages from Lending Gurus and its Lending Partners cannot be established by mere use of this Site. This consent is only activated when you submit a form containing your phone number. At the point of each form submission, a disclosure will be presented notifying you that by submitting your phone number you consent to such communications. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. This consent is not a condition of receiving any service.
For all other email communications from Lending Gurus, your use of the Site constitutes consent to receive them. You may opt out at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email or contacting chris@lendinggurus.com
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies to understand user behavior, measure content and marketing performance, and deliver targeted advertising. By using the Site, you consent to this use of tracking technologies. You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though doing so may affect Site functionality. 8. Marketing Opt-Out
Lending Gurus emails: Click “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email or contact chris@lendinggurus.com.
Lending Gurus SMS: Reply STOP to any text message.
Lending Partner communications: Contact the Lending Partner directly. Lending Gurus cannot manage communications sent by Lending Partners after your information has been shared with them.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), access controls, and contractual security obligations imposed on service providers. No system is completely secure. Once your information is transmitted to a Lending Partner, its security is governed by that partner’s own practices.
10. Your Privacy Rights
General Rights — All Users
You may contact us at any time to: request access to your Personal Information; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your information (subject to legal obligations and information already transmitted to Lending Partners); or opt out of marketing communications. California Residents — CCPA / CPRA
California residents have the following rights:
- Right to Know: Categories and specific pieces of Personal Information collected, used, and shared — including categories of Lending Partners receiving your data
- Right to Delete: Deletion of your Personal Information, subject to exceptions
- Right to Correct: Correction of inaccurate Personal Information
- Right to Opt Out of Sharing: Direct us not to share your information with Lending Partners or for behavioral advertising. Note: opting out prevents us from connecting you with Lending Partners, which is the core function of the platform
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights

Other State Residents

11. Data Retention
We retain Personal Information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements — generally no longer than 3 years from your last interaction with the Site, unless a longer period is required by law. Information transmitted to Lending Partners is subject to their own retention policies; Lending Gurus cannot retrieve or delete it after transmission.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for individuals at least 18 years of age operating or representing a business. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us immediately at chris@lendinggurus.com.
13. Third-Party Sites
The Site links to third-party websites including Lending Partner platforms. Clicking through means you are leaving lendinggurus.com. Lending Gurus is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site. Review each Lending Partner’s privacy policy before engaging with them.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy without any further action required on your part. Check the “Last Revised” date at the top of this page for the most current version.
